Wheatpaste Mural Project

Various designs are chosen annually and installed as temporary public art at locations across Downtowns of participating communities. The project challenges artists of all backgrounds and experience levels to create pieces that elicit conversation and inspiration around uniting and connecting our community. Artwork typically remains in place from May through mid-October with the goal of new installations each spring.

In 2021 and 2022, over 8-10 murals were installed each year in Downtown Bangor. View Past Installations.
