Central Gallery in Downtown Bangor (circa 2016)
Our History
Launchpad was founded in 2011, and it’s initial major project, the Central Gallery mixed-used Arts Space, a key part of downtown Bangor’s cultural revitalization, enabled the organization to develop its mission and expand its presence.
Since that time, Launchpad has introduced several projects across the State of Maine; including the All Roads Music Festival (Belfast) in 2015, the Bangor Arts Exchange (Bangor) in 2017, and the Live from the Grand Music Series (Ellsworth) in 2019.
Launchpad has collaborated with dozens of Creative Organizations and presented the work of hundreds of music artists, filmmakers and traditional and experimental artists to a diverse range of thousands of audience members.
